melted caramels

melted butter or margarine

evaporated milk

German chocolate cake mix
Chocolate chips
Walnuts
Instructions
Melt caramels with ⅓ cup evaporated milk, mix cake mix with ⅓ cup evaporated milk and butter.
Put half cake mixture in bottom of a 9x13 pan (greased).
Bake this 6 minutes at 325°.
Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over the top, then the caramel mixture and rest of the cake mixture and bake 20 minutes at 325°.
