Kosher dill pickles

Instructions
Cut off ends of pickles and cut them into ½-inch chunks.
Put in glass bowl or dish (do not use metal or stainless steel).
Add other ingredients; let stand 24 hours.
Second day, stir carefully.
Third day, stir carefully. Put in jar and refrigerate.
