Peach Glaze Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 qt sliced fresh peaches
  • ¾ cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Pinch of salt
  • Baked pie shell
  • Whipped cream

Instructions

  • Cook 1 cup peaches and water for 4 minutes. Mix sugar and cornstarch; add.
  • Cook until thick and clear. Add lemon juice, butter and salt. Cool.
  • Put remaining fruit in pie shell and pour cooled glaze over.
  • Chill. Top with whipped cream.
