Ingredients

quick oatmeal
2
cups
boiling water
1
cake
yeast
dissolved in ½ cup lukewarm water
6
cups
flour
1
tsp
salt
2
tbsp
lard
¼
cup
sugar
4
tbsp
molasses
Instructions
Scald oatmeal in boiling water. Cool.
Add remaining ingredients.
Let rise until double.
Put into pans and let rise again.
Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

Makes 2 loaves.
