Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1 cup molasses
  • 1 tsp soda
  • ¼ cup hot water
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • Enough flour to roll

Instructions

  • Cream sugar, eggs and shortening.
  • Add rest of ingredients and mix.
  • Drop on cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes at 350°.
