Freezer Pickles

Ingredients

  • 2 qts cucumbers peeled and sliced thin
  • 1 medium onion cut up
  • 3 tsp salt
  • ½ cup vinegar
  • cup sugar

Instructions

  • Peel cucumbers and slice thin. Add onion and sprinkle with salt. Let stand in refrigerator 2 hours.
  • Mix vinegar and sugar until dissolved (do not cook). Pour over cucumbers.
  • Put into containers and freeze.
