Egg Dumplings for Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp oleo or butter
  • ΒΌ tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • Milk

Instructions

  • Mix together the first 4 ingredients well.
  • Beat 1 egg in a cup and fill cup with milk; add to flour mixture.
  • Mix well and drop by teaspoonfuls into boiling soup.
  • Cover tightly and cook for 15 minutes without removing cover.

Notes

Dip spoon in hot soup before dropping first dumpling.
