Crazy Cake

Ingredients

Cake

  • 3 cups regular flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp soda
  • ⅓ cup cocoa
  • ¾ cup cooking oil
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups water

Frosting

  • 1 cup sugar
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

Cake

  • Mix dry ingredients in ungreased 9x13-inch pan.
  • Make 3 wells in the dry ingredients. Put oil in one well, vinegar in the next, and vanilla in the third.
  • Pour water over top of all of these and stir.
  • Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes.

Frosting

  • Bring sugar, milk and butter to a boil.
  • Add chocolate chips and stir until melted.
  • Let cool and spread on cake.
