Ingredients
Red crab apples
3
cloves
for each jar
Pieces of cinnamon

sugar

water

vinegar
Pinch of salt
Instructions
Wash apples and leave stems on.
Prick each apple and put in quart jars.
Put 3 cloves and few pieces of cinnamon in [each] jar.
Boil sugar, water, vinegar, and salt; pour over apples.
Seal and put in hot water bath for 15 minutes.
