Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter or margarine
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 5 tbsp flour
  • ⅛ tsp soda
  • 2 eggs slightly beaten
  • ½ cup cut-up nutmeats

Instructions

  • Melt butter or margarine in 8x8-inch pan. Swish this around to cover sides and bottom of pan; set aside.
  • Mix next 3 ingredients; add slightly beaten eggs. Add nuts.
  • Pour into pan and bake 20 minutes (no more) at 350°.
  • Tip out on rack (butter will have made a glaze).
  • Let stand and sift powdered sugar over before cutting.
