Caramel Sauce

white sugar

cup
brown sugar

cup
light cream

vanilla

butter
Instructions
Apple Rum Dum
Cream sugar and shortening. Add egg, then dry ingredients.
Blend in nuts and apples.
Bake in 9-inch square pan at 350° for 40-45 minutes.
Cut into squares and serve with caramel sauce.
Caramel Sauce
Combine in saucepan. Bring to boil for 2 minutes (or longer).
Serve hot.
