Egg Dumplings for Soup
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp oleo or butter
- ΒΌ tsp salt
- 1 egg
- Milk
Instructions
- Mix together the first 4 ingredients well.
- Beat 1 egg in a cup and fill cup with milk; add to flour mixture.
- Mix well and drop by teaspoonfuls into boiling soup.
- Cover tightly and cook for 15 minutes without removing cover.
Notes
Dip spoon in hot soup before dropping first dumpling.
