Rosettes
Ingredients
- 2 eggs slightly beaten
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup flour
- ¼ tsp salt
Instructions
- Mix eggs, sugar and milk.
- Stir in flour and salt, beating until smooth.
- Heat oil to 400°.
- Heat iron in hot oil, drain excess oil on paper towel.
- Dip heated iron into batter until ⅔ covered.
- Dip quickly into hot oil and cook until brown, about 1 minute.
- Remove rosettes from iron and drain on paper towel.
- Dip in sugar.
