Oatmeal Crunch Bars
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp soda
- 1⅓ cup flour
- 1 cup quick cooking oatmeal
- ½ cup nuts chopped
- ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate pieces
Instructions
- Cream butter with brown sugar, vanilla and salt. Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Press into bottom of ungreased pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes, 13×9 inch pan.
Frosting
- Sprinkle chocolate pieces in hot bars. When soft, spread to frost.
