Beet Pickles
Ingredients
- Beets
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1½ cup sugar
- 2½ cup water
- 1 tbsp mixed spices
Instructions
- Cook beets.
- Make syrup of remaining ingredients. Bring to boil.
- Add cooked beets and bring ot a boil again.
- Put in jars and seal.
Notes
Makes 5-6 pints.
