Peach Glaze Pie
Ingredients
- 1 qt sliced fresh peaches
- ¾ cup water
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp butter
- Pinch of salt
- Baked pie shell
- Whipped cream
Instructions
- Cook 1 cup peaches and water for 4 minutes. Mix sugar and cornstarch; add.
- Cook until thick and clear. Add lemon juice, butter and salt. Cool.
- Put remaining fruit in pie shell and pour cooled glaze over.
- Chill. Top with whipped cream.
