Shrimp Creole
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp butter or margarine
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 green pepper chopped
- ½ cup chopped celery
- 1 can tomato sauce 15 oz
- 12 oz canned shrimp
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
Instructions
- Melt butter in heavy skillet or saucepan; add onion, green pepper and celery.
- Cook until vegetables are tender, but not browned, stirring occasionally.
- Mix in remaining ingredients; cover and simmer 30 minutes.
- Serve over hot rice.
