Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp butter or margarine
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 1 green pepper chopped
  • ½ cup chopped celery
  • 1 can tomato sauce 15 oz
  • 12 oz canned shrimp
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar

Instructions

  • Melt butter in heavy skillet or saucepan; add onion, green pepper and celery.
  • Cook until vegetables are tender, but not browned, stirring occasionally.
  • Mix in remaining ingredients; cover and simmer 30 minutes.
  • Serve over hot rice.
