Cedric Adams’ Hotdish
Ingredients
- 1 small head cabbage shredded or cut in pieces
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion chopped
- Seasonings to taste
- 1 can cream of tomato soup
- Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Saute ground beef and onion in butter (heat through, but don't brown). Season to taste.
- In casserole, place generous layer of cabbage on bottom; add layer of beef and onion; add balance of cabbage as top layer.
- Over all, pour cream of tomato soup.
- Cover casserole during first part of baking.
- Bake until bubbly hot in preheated oven at 350° for 45-60 minutes or until cabbage is tender, depending on size and amount of ingredients used.
- Serve with generous sprinkling of grated Parmesan cheese.

No back-up from cabbage and low in calorie count.
