Ingredients

  • 2 eggs slightly beaten
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

  • Mix eggs, sugar and milk.
  • Stir in flour and salt, beating until smooth.
  • Heat oil to 400°.
  • Heat iron in hot oil, drain excess oil on paper towel.
  • Dip heated iron into batter until ⅔ covered.
  • Dip quickly into hot oil and cook until brown, about 1 minute.
  • Remove rosettes from iron and drain on paper towel.
  • Dip in sugar.
