Broken Glass Dessert
Ingredients
- 1 3 oz pkg lemon or lime gelatin
- 1 3 oz pkg red gelatin
- 1 3 oz pkg orange gelatin
- 16 graham crackers
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¼ cup butter
- 1 envelope plain gelatin
- ¼ cup cold water
- 1 cup hot pineapple juice
- 1 8 oz carton whipped topping
Instructions
- Dissolve each of the flavored gelatins in 1½ cup boiling water. Pour each flavor into separate 8 or 9 inch pans.
- Chill until firm and cut into cubes.
- Crush graham crackers and mix with sugar and melted butter.
- Spread ⅔ of mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan.
- Dissolve plain gelatin in cold water and add hot pineapple juice. Stir and cool until syrupy.
- Fold flavored gelatin cubes and pineapple mixture into whipped topping.
- Pour over graham cracker crust and top with remaining graham crackers. Chill.
