Crab Apple Pickles
Ingredients
- Red crab apples
- 3 cloves for each jar
- Pieces of cinnamon
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup water
- 5 tbsp vinegar
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Wash apples and leave stems on.
- Prick each apple and put in quart jars.
- Put 3 cloves and few pieces of cinnamon in [each] jar.
- Boil sugar, water, vinegar, and salt; pour over apples.
- Seal and put in hot water bath for 15 minutes.
