Burritos
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp salad oil
- 3 tbsp flour
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 cans tomato sauce
- 4 sauce cans water
- salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- pinch of oregano
- 2 lbs hamburger
- 1 dozen tortillas
- 2 bunches green onions chopped
- 1 can chopped black olives
- 1 lb cheddar cheese grated
Instructions
- Place salad oil, flour and garlic in a saucepan; simmer.
- Add tomato sauce, water, salt, pepper, chili powder and oregano. Simmer.
- Brown hamburger.
- Fry tortillas lightly.
- Dip each tortilla into tomato sauce.
- Place hamburger in center of tortilla; roll up and secure with toothpick.
- Place in large shallow pan.
- Pour remaining sauce mixture over rolled tortillas.
- Sprinkle green onions and olives over top; sprinkle grated cheese over all.
- Heat at 350° until bubbly.
