Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp salad oil
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 4 sauce cans water
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • pinch of oregano
  • 2 lbs hamburger
  • 1 dozen tortillas
  • 2 bunches green onions chopped
  • 1 can chopped black olives
  • 1 lb cheddar cheese grated

Instructions

  • Place salad oil, flour and garlic in a saucepan; simmer.
  • Add tomato sauce, water, salt, pepper, chili powder and oregano. Simmer.
  • Brown hamburger.
  • Fry tortillas lightly.
  • Dip each tortilla into tomato sauce.
  • Place hamburger in center of tortilla; roll up and secure with toothpick.
  • Place in large shallow pan.
  • Pour remaining sauce mixture over rolled tortillas.
  • Sprinkle green onions and olives over top; sprinkle grated cheese over all.
  • Heat at 350° until bubbly.
