Ingredients
Overnight Coffee Cake
- ⅔ cup margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs well beaten
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
Topping
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup nuts
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
Instructions
Overnight Coffee Cake
- Cream first 3 ingredients, add beaten eggs.
- Sift dry ingredients.
- Add buttermilk alternately with dry ingredients (add dry ingredients first and last).
- Place in refrigerator overnight.
Topping
- In the morning, place topping on cake and bake for 40 minutes at 350°.
